Server

This method is the easiest way for anyone to send files
to and retrieve files from Primary, via their computer. There
are only two requirements: One, a Mac workstation that is
running Mac OS 8 (or higher) and Two, the workstation must
have an Internet connection.
Having met those conditions, follow these steps:
1.) Go under the Apple Menu and
open the Chooser. Now click on the Appleshare icon.
2.) On the lower right, a Server
IP Address button will appear. Click on it.
3.) A dialog box will show stating
to Enter the Server Address.
4.) Enter primarycolor.com for
the Irvine office or la.primarycolor.com for the
Culver City office and click on the Connect button

7.) A Public server icon for
that location will appear on the computer desktop.
Once the Public server icon appears on your desktop, it can
be treated the same as a hard drive. You may copy files to
our Appleshare server with a simple drag and drop of a file
folder onto the Public icon. You can retrieve files in a
similar manner.
Before sending files, please label the folder with client
name/job and place all files within it.
NOTE: This
is a PUBLIC folder. You may want to send material deemed
sensitive or private in a different manner.
